The 5 Worst Cars In Automobile History

If you are a regular reader of most car blogs, you will have no doubt noticed that most of them are obsessed with the best cars. You know the kind of posts that appear fairly regularly – “The Best Cars of 2018” and “The Ultimate List of The Best Cars of All Time”. It all gets fairly boring after a while, doesn’t it? Well, we thought we’d turn this on its head slightly and change things up. How about a list of the worst cars of all time? We’ve put our heads together and come up with this list of the worst five cars from the whole of automobile history.

Vauxhall Frontera

Back in the 1990s, the Frontera was Vauxhall’s first attempt at making an SUV. And, well, let’s just say that it didn’t really make a big impact on the SUV market. This is largely because the car was rushed onto the market, and this was very obvious when looking at the vehicle. It was lacking in quality and was extremely thirsty when it came to fuel. Not only was it a poor car to drive, but it was highly expensive to run too.

Reva G-Wiz

If you ask anyone who works with individuals who have been involved in car accidents, such as Abelson Law Firm, they will tell you that even the best drivers can get into accidents. So, it’s always good to choose a vehicle that provides you with as much safety as possible. That’s probably why the Reva G-Wiz is in this list – it had a terrible reputation for safety. But that’s not where the bad news ends – the car was clunky to drive and its top speed was only 50 MPH.

Rover CityRover

The Rover brand began to decline in popularity in the 1990s, and some people would argue that it is all because of the Rover CityRover. At the time of its development, Rover had limited resources which is probably why this car gives its owners very little for their money. The car’s performance wasn’t great and the handling didn’t do it any favors, which is probably why this is one of the worst-reviewed cars of all time.

Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible

The Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible looks like it could be quite a nice little car. It was made with a vintage-style design and looked pretty good parked in people’s driveways. However, that was probably all that it had going for it. It was released at a time when there were some exceptionally good cars available to buy, so people were going for its competitors. Ultimately, this car just didn’t sell.

SsangYong Rodius

Do you remember the SsangYong Rodius people carrier? If not, that’s probably for the best! The car was released as a last-ditch attempt to boost the popularity of SsangYong. As it’s on this list, you can tell it didn’t work! The car’s styling looked quite dated at the time and it had poor driveability – two things you don’t want in a car!

Stay away from these cars!
