So being able to have them cleaned regularly is really important. If you have regular services on your car then the filters will get cleaned then. But it is something that you could do yourself, and if so, then it can save a little money on your services. If you clean the air filter then it can prolong the life of the car. 

Drive Smoothly

If you want to drive with a little sympathy for your car, then it can help to prolong the life of your car. Doing so will help to reduce wear and tear, and it can give you a little more miles per tank. Driving smoothly can help to take care of major controls, through steering wheels, the gearbox and the pedals. These are all key things that are going to help prolong the life of the car, and if you don’t need to suddenly break, than that can make a difference too. If you do like to drive quickly, then think about something like performance transmission and efficient driving is going to make a difference to keep you being able to make it as smooth as possible. Steps to improve your driving style can make a difference to help you to get the most out of your car, and improve the fuel economy.

Top Up Fluids
The fluids and oils that you use in the car are the lifeblood of the car. And if you’re not able to top them up regularly or replenish them, then it can have some really negative consequences. If you check your engine oil once every two weeks, then it can simply done with the opening the bonnet and then using the dipstick that is in the oil. The oil level to look out for is in between the minimum and maximum marks on the stick. One extra thing to think about is if the oil is too dark or dirty. If so, then a full oil change will be what you need to help to prolong the life of the car. Things like coolant and the windscreen fluid should be checked regularly and topped up regularly too.
