Let’s have a look at some of the Pros and Cons of the Tesla Model 3:

Pros

  • App-Enabled Entry and Start-Up –  Tesla allow you to use your smartphone as a key fob through the use of an app. You don’t need to worry about finding your keys or even pressing the start button. Simply press on the brake and you’re ready to go, put it into the park mode once you arrive and you can leave. When you walk away from your Tesla Model 3 it automatically turns the car off and locks it.
  • Centre Screen-  There is a huge 15inch screen that controls nearly every function in the Tesla 3. You may think that this could be dangerous and a bit of a distraction but the designers have made it completely intuitive. It includes functions such as the tesla trip planner as well as alerts for when it’s time to plug in on longer journeys.
  • Panoramic Sunroof – Every single version of the Tesla 3 comes with a top-class premium interior which includes a panoramic, tinted sunroof. It has the ability to really indulge you in the landscape and scenery you are driving through and is a massive feature point for this car.

Cons

  • App-Enabled Entry and Start-Up – Although this is a cool piece of tech, you need to have a good signal and twist yourself towards the car to connect properly. You also have to think about what you need to do if your phone runs out of charge. There are, of course, alternative ways to unlock the car but if you want to make use of the feature and the convenience of the app unlocking you will need to keep on top of your phone charge level.
  • Centre Screen- You need to be making a conscious effort to keep your eyes on the road. Not only can it be a little bit of a distraction at times, One of the top pleasures of driving is the fact it takes you away from all the screen time we spend on our technology. Some people report that the controls can take time to get used to and therefore it’s best to pull over until you’re completely familiar.
  • Panoramic Sunroof – Of course you can’t guarantee that you’re always going to have nice weather and it has been reported that the sunroof can look at little streaky after rain. There has being a promise of a metal roof option. Driving into blaring sunlight can also cause a bit of glare so this is definitely something to keep in mind.
