When it comes to driving, you want your car to be an extension of you – who you are and what you enjoy. So there are a number of ways that you can personalize your vehicle in order to make it the most amount of ‘you’ it can be.

Anyone who drives knows that the joy of driving isn’t being stuck in traffic in the middle of a city – it is from the wide-open road, the music up and the windows down catching a breeze. And you want to maximize the comfort, enjoyment and the love you have for your vehicle.

So here are a few ways that you can personalize your car:

Custom Color

There are a couple of options for the color of your vehicle. You can pick the color that you love when you choose the car – if you are buying new, it is usually easier to get exactly what you want. You can spring for a costly custom paint job, or you can go for car wraps. One of the reasons you could go for a car wrap over the others is because your car could be advertising your business while you simply drive around as regular – neat.

Plate

Personalized plates are always something people notice. You can opt for something simple like your initials or your nickname, or you might want to go for something a little cooler. There are so many ways you can choose to go, but it is worth noting that just because you use fewer numbers or letters doesn’t mean it is going to be cheaper. And there are still some rules that you have to stick to.

Dash

Dashboards aren’t what they used to be. They are easier than ever to read, they give you more information and deliver it in a nice format. But maybe you just don’t love it. You can get lights installed, a different print attached or change the look of the dials completely.

Gears

Yes, most cars are now fitted with very comfortable gear sticks. They have to be comfortable because you may need to hold them for hours at a time. However, you might want something that looks better or fits in your hand differently. They are great finishing touch when you have spent time and money doing the rest of the interior too. If you opt for leather, you will generally have an enhanced grip.

Wheels

Your wheels are one of the features that people will notice quickly – much like the personalized number plate. You can swap out the standard factory ones for something that looks better and improve the handling too. There are so many different rims to choose from you might be hard pushed to choose in the end.

There are so many ways that you can make your car more personal to you, and if you are smart about it, it may improve the handling and the sale price if you are looking to sell the four-wheeled monster on at a later date.
